Yes, I know, I have not been writing again for so long. Today I just planted 6 Photinia trees in my yard. I had to dig the entire section of the yard which was previously filled with sandy soil which apparently caused many of my trees to be sick!

1 May
Today is a public holiday. It is Labour Day here in Malaysia, and I am sure it is also celebrated in other parts of the world. We had a simple "mee hoon" noodle lunch before heading to Kota Kemuning KFC outlet to celebrate Diana's ex classmate's birthday. Mazurah is eight today, and soon Diana will be eight as well. Had light lunch at about 4 PM at the KFC outlet. Kids had fun and games. We left at around 6 PM and headed to Jaya Grocer Bukit Jelutong supermarket to buy some groceries.
I received a good news today on the arrest of BN's sole MP in Sabah - Bung Mukhtor. I hope more will be exposed and punished! Enough of corrupted government officials!!!
2nd May
I had a momentary light bulb that sparked in my head this afternoon in terms of what to do with the last stretched of my life. I thought "why not be a non-fiction crime writer?" I was an interesting idea which perhaps I need to dwell a little longer on. I thought, that was a natural thing for me to do as I love reading and watching real crime novel and videos of Youtube. My initial thought is what type of crime should I focus on - white color crime or other types of crime like murder, kidnapping etc. Do I have a market for my work in Malaysia and how do I start writing? WHat about cold case files? Let me ponder and think about this.
3rd May
We sent our niece to her classmate's house located at Bukit Jelutong in the evening. We had a minor mishap when a Toyota Harrier reversed quickly and hit the right corner of our Myvi. It was driven by a young woman, who'd seemed nervous coming out of the car and profusely apologized to my wife. I too wanted to scold her but looking at her poor state of emotion I decided not to make things worse for her.
4th May
Oh my, my pleco died today. I am not sure what happened. The pleco was not eating since I bought it about a week ago. I initially though it was shy and was eating during times when I was sleeping. It is a nocturnal fish anyways.
The Malaysian opposition organised a shallow, politically motivated march in KL today. Thank goodness, it rained when their march was about to start. Perhaps it is a bad omen? Anyway, this group are bunch of bigots and racists.
The young lady who rammed into my wife's MYVI responded that she is awaiting for her workshop to respond to her as to when we can send our cars for repair.
16 May
I finally got my new car repainted. I was not a perfect job but I think it is acceptable. I will also get a new roof for my outdoor kitchen tomorrow. I have chosen a new material to replace the old one. Perhaps this new material is more durable and it happens to be cheaper too.
I got contacted from an old office acquaintance, Muhittin. Not sure why he wanted to see me but maybe I should just catch up with him for old times sake.
"After giving her the benefit of doubt, I've now come to the conclusion that Sarah is a sociopath."
"Indeed, the worst is the creation of a smoke screen, racial and religious tension to divert attention from their pastr corrupt deed. I hope in the PH government, more transparency should be given on this irrespective whether it was done by BN or PH."
"Sorry this explanation is lame and does not pass the smell test. If you can't get the details from the bank, there must have been other supporting documentations. Very difficult to believe you would have released this amount of money without verifying the recipient. "
"In my view, 0% VLT, has more cons than pros. 0% is extreme and perhaps it is only for specific usage. I can imagine the passengers in the 2 row seats (or 3rd row) may feel claustrophobic and will not enjoy the ride as they can't view their surroundings. I will go for 20% max VLT...not higher in the rear or passenger seats. "
"that's a little extreme... BUT that came across my mind too lol!!"
