January 2018 Diary

I just send my daughter to school. Back at my desk, pondering what to do with the rest of my life... the last half of my life. It is taking me a couple of months to decide, but I guess it is ok to take the time as I have only one shot left, so it needs to be a good decision.

I have shortlisted as my future career, financial advisor (trainer), pet shop owner, and real estate agent.

I have just opened a 20K account to invest in Stock. The objective is the make some money and at the same time open a training school for stock!

My second post!

Hi all. This is my second post on the same night! I am male, married with 2 kids. I am a child of the 60s. Listening to music of the 70s. I love music of the 70s, man those were the days! I like to listen to sound track from Saturday Night Fever. 

My first post!!

Hi there. I am dwe, and have just turned 55 last month! Another "milestone", I have just been made redundant by my company which I am been working for the last 20 years. English is not my mother tongue so please bear with me :-0.

I told myself I need to start my blog when I have the time. There are many reasons for me to start a blog, among which is the need to improve my English, to record interesting happenings in my life, and a form of self therapy!

This is my first blog. The first point I want to make is that it is difficult to adjust to my new normal - existence without going to work! My company gave me enough money to survive the rest of my life without ever working again, but it is really tough to adapt to not working as I feel 55 year old is still to young to regard myself as a "senior"!
